Logitech C925e 1080p Business Webcam

The Logitech C925e is a fixed-focus webcam built for office video calls, delivering 1920 x 1080 resolution at 30 fps over a Hi-speed USB 2.0 connection. It targets professionals who need reliable, plug-and-play imaging for platforms such as Skype for Business on Windows, macOS or Linux systems.

RightLight 2 auto-exposure and dual mics

RightLight 2 technology adjusts exposure automatically so faces stay visible in dim or backlit rooms without manual tweaking. Two omnidirectional microphones capture speech from a natural sitting distance, while the integrated privacy shade slides across the lens instantly when a call ends.

Removable clip and 78° field of view

A removable mounting clip secures the unit to laptop lids, LCD panels or CRT monitors and also accepts a standard tripod thread for desk-top placement. The 78° diagonal field of view frames a single user tightly, making it unsuitable for conference-room groups or streamers who want a wider scene.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the C925e to my monitor and which step is often missed?

Clip the removable mount onto the monitor top edge, then slide the webcam onto the mount until it clicks; the step often missed is forgetting to slide the camera onto the mount after clipping the base.

What part of the C925e will need replacement first with daily use?

The integrated privacy cover is a moving plastic shutter that can wear out before the fixed lens or cable.

What limits the C925e during long video calls?

The 30 fps frame rate at 1080p is the first limit reached; the sensor cannot exceed 30 frames per second regardless of call length.
