All-in-One ConferenceCam for Small Rooms

The Logitech ConferenceCam BCC950 combines a 1080p30fps Carl Zeiss camera with an integrated full-duplex speakerphone. It is built for huddle spaces and home offices where a single USB device must handle both video and audio. The motorised pan, tilt and zoom let remote participants follow the conversation without manual adjustment.

Plug-and-Play USB 2.0 Setup

The webcam works on Windows XP, Vista, 7 and Mac OS X 10.6 and above without driver installation. UVC support means it appears instantly in Skype for Business, Cisco Jabber and WebEx. A minimum Core 2 2.4 GHz processor is required, while an i7 quad core is recommended for smooth encoding. The only common issue is ensuring the host USB port supplies enough current for the speakerphone.

Sustained 1080p Encoding Performance

On-board H.264 encoding offloads video compression from the host CPU during long meetings. The omni-directional microphone maintains clear pickup up to 8 feet with echo cancellation and a 200Hz to 8KHz frequency response. Continuous operation stays stable because the hardware encoder prevents the frame drops that software encoding can introduce over time.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the ConferenceCam BCC950 is capturing 1080p at 30 fps after plugging it in?

Open your video-conferencing application, start a preview or test call, and confirm the resolution shows 1920 x 1080 at 30 fps; the on-board H.264 encoder handles compression so the host CPU load stays low.

What comes in the box with the 960-000866 and what must I source separately?

The all-in-one unit includes the Carl Zeiss camera, integrated full-duplex speakerphone with noise-cancelling microphone, a remote control for pan, tilt, zoom, volume, mute and call handling, and a USB 2.0 cable; no extra software or drivers are required for Windows XP, Vista, 7 or Mac OS X 10.6 and above.

Which version of the BCC950 should I choose for a small meeting room?

The single 960-000866 model delivers 1080p30 video, 8-foot audio pickup, motorised pan, tilt and zoom, and certifications for Microsoft Lync 2013, Skype for Business, Cisco Jabber and WebEx — all in one fixed configuration.
