Extended microphone for CC4000e

This omnidirectional microphone plugs directly into the Logitech CC4000e webcam to extend audio pickup across larger meeting rooms. It is designed for teams that need clear voice capture beyond the webcam’s built-in range. The 6 metre cable allows flexible placement on conference tables. A single mute button with LED status keeps control simple during calls.

Sustained conference use

The mono wideband microphone uses noise-cancelling technology to maintain consistent voice clarity throughout long meetings. LED indicators show mute, on-hold and Bluetooth pairing states at a glance. Plug-and-play connection requires no driver installation, so the device stays ready for back-to-back sessions. The 302 gram weighted base keeps the unit stable on smooth surfaces.

Installation and common issues

Setup consists of connecting the 6 metre cable to the CC4000e webcam; no software configuration is needed. The microphone only works with the CC4000e, so buyers using other webcam models will not gain any function. Ensure the mute button is not accidentally engaged, as the LED is the only visual confirmation. The fixed cable cannot be replaced if damaged.

Questions about this item

How much power does the Logitech Extended Microphone for CC4000e Webcam draw during all-day meetings?

It is a passive Plug-and-Play device with no separate power supply, so it draws negligible power from the CC4000e webcam itself.

What existing equipment is required before this extension microphone will function?

You must already own the Logitech CC4000e webcam, as this microphone connects directly to that specific model.

Will the 6-metre cable reach our CC4000e if the webcam sits on the far side of a large conference table?

Yes, the supplied 6-metre cable is designed to span large meeting rooms so the microphone can be placed centrally while the CC4000e remains at the display.
