Stream-ready USB condenser microphone

The Logitech G Yeti Orb is a USB condenser microphone aimed at streamers and content creators who want plug-and-play operation on PC or Mac. Its cardioid polar pattern focuses on sound in front of the capsule while rejecting off-axis noise. A 24-bit 48 kHz sample rate captures voice with broadcast-grade clarity. The compact white finish suits modern desk setups.

Silent operation with RGB lighting

The microphone has no moving parts and draws power directly from the USB connection, so it adds no audible fan noise or thermal load to the room. LIGHTSYNC-enabled RGB flares provide visual feedback without affecting acoustic performance. A signal-to-noise ratio of 72 dB keeps background hiss low during quiet passages. Maximum SPL of 117 dB handles loud vocals without distortion.

Desktop stand and standard mounting

A removable desktop stand is included for immediate tabletop use, and the integrated bracket accepts any ¼"-20 threaded mount for boom arms or shock mounts. The two-metre USB-C to USB-A cable gives flexible routing across the desk. Dimensions of 196 mm height and 115 mm width and depth keep the footprint small. At 230 grams the unit stays stable on the supplied stand.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the Yeti Orb on a boom arm and which thread size does the bracket use?

The included bracket accepts any standard ¼"-20 threaded mount so you can screw it directly onto a boom arm or desk stand without an adapter.

Will the USB-C cable or the desktop stand need replacement after heavy daily use?

The 2 metre USB-C to USB-A cable is detachable so it can be swapped if it frays, while the removable desktop stand has no moving parts and rarely requires replacement.

At what sound-pressure level does the capsule start to distort during loud streams?

Maximum SPL is rated at 117 dB at 1 % THD, so sustained shouting or close-miked instruments above that level will clip the 24-bit/48 kHz signal.
