Logitech G102 2nd Gen Gaming Mouse 8000 DPI Wired Black

What the G102 2nd Gen Gaming Mouse Is

The Logitech G102 2nd Generation is a wired gaming mouse built around an 8000 DPI sensor with LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting. It weighs 85 grams and measures 116.6 mm by 62.15 mm by 38.2 mm. The 2.1 meter cable connects via USB and reports at 1000 Hz through a 32-bit ARM microprocessor. Six programmable buttons are configurable through Logitech G HUB software. It is designed for PC gamers who want a lightweight, responsive pointer with customisable colour effects.

Check Your Setup Before Ordering

Verify that your system runs Windows 7 or later, macOS 10.13 or later, or ChromeOS. A free USB-A port is required for the wired connection. Install Logitech G HUB to access the 200 to 8000 DPI range, button remapping and RGB profiles. The 16-bit per axis data format and 1 ms report rate work on any standard USB port without extra drivers. Ensure the 2.1 meter cable reaches your port comfortably given your desk layout.

Who This Suits and Who Should Look Elsewhere

Competitive players who prefer a compact, lightweight shape with six programmable inputs and per-game DPI switching will find the G102 2nd Gen a capable choice. Buyers who want more buttons for complex MMO macros, a wireless connection, an ergonomic right-handed contour, adjustable weight tuning or onboard profile storage without software should look at other models. The fixed cable and symmetrical design also make it less suited for left-handed users who want dedicated side buttons.
