Lightweight Wireless Gaming Mouse

The Logitech G304 weighs 99 grams and measures 116.6 mm by 62.15 mm by 38.2 mm. It connects through a LIGHTSPEED USB receiver for a 1000 Hz wireless reporting rate. The HERO sensor provides a resolution range of 200 to 12000 dpi with zero smoothing, acceleration or filtering. It suits players who want a compact, cable-free pointer for fast-paced sessions.

Power and Durability

A single AA battery delivers up to 250 hours of continuous use. The 32-bit ARM microprocessor maintains the 1 ms report rate without noticeable latency during normal play. PTFE feet are rated for 250 km of travel on a Logitech G240 pad. The mechanical key tensioning system gives a crisp click feel over extended use.

12000 dpi HERO Sensor

The HERO sensor tops out at 12000 dpi and tracks at up to 400 IPS with 40 g maximum acceleration. This sensitivity ceiling decides whether the mouse fits your aim style. Buyers who need adjustable weights, extra programmable buttons or a rechargeable battery will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

How do I install the G304 Lightspeed mouse and what step do people miss?

Plug the LIGHTSPEED USB receiver into a free port; the 32-bit ARM microprocessor pairs instantly. The step users miss is leaving the receiver behind a metal case, which blocks the 1 ms report rate.

What maintenance or replacement will the G304 need later?

The PTFE footpad is rated for 250 km of travel on a G240 pad; once the glide feels rough, replace the feet. The single AA battery lasts up to 250 hours and is the only other consumable.

What limit appears first during long gaming sessions with the G304?

The HERO sensor caps at 400 IPS and 40 g acceleration; sustained swipes faster than that will hit the tracking ceiling before battery or thermal limits become an issue.
