Logitech G309 910-007197 gaming mouse

What it is and who it's for

The Logitech G309 LIGHTSPEED is a lightweight wireless gaming mouse built for right-handed players who want a cable-free setup. It weighs 86 g with the included AA battery or 68 g when used with a POWERPLAY charging system. The HERO 25K sensor delivers 25600 dpi tracking with zero smoothing. LIGHTFORCE hybrid switches combine optical speed with mechanical feel. Six programmable buttons allow custom shortcuts.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

This mouse suits competitive gamers who value low weight and dual wireless modes for PC or Mac. It works with Windows 10 or later and macOS 11 or later via USB-A, plus Bluetooth on Windows 10, macOS 13, ChromeOS, Android 4.3, or iOS 10. Buyers who need a left-handed or ambidextrous shape cannot use this model. Users who prefer a rechargeable internal battery without an optional POWERPLAY mat should look elsewhere.

The spec that decides fit

The HERO 25K sensor tops out at 25600 dpi, which sets the ceiling for sensitivity adjustment. If your play style demands higher DPI steps, this mouse will not reach them. The 300-plus hour AA battery life defines how often you must swap cells unless you add a POWERPLAY system. The 86 g weight with battery included determines whether the mass matches your aim preference.
