What this headset does and who it fits

The Logitech H151 stereo headset 981-000587 connects via a 3.5 mm jack and weighs 0.176 pounds. It delivers full stereo sound with a frequency response of 2Hz-20KHz and 18 ohm impedance. The noise-cancelling boom microphone reduces background noise and rotates for left or right-side wear. In-line controls adjust volume and mute the mic.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This headset suits people who want a lightweight wired headset for voice and video calls on Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, iOS or Android devices. The adjustable headband and foam ear cups support extended wear. Buyers who need wireless freedom or a USB-only connection should consider other models.

The spec that decides fit

The 3.5 mm analog connector is the single specification that determines compatibility. If your device has a 3.5 mm audio port, this headset will work; if it only offers USB-C or Lightning without an adapter, it will not.

Questions about this item

What does the 2 Hz to 20 kHz headphone frequency response mean for everyday listening?

It covers the full audible range so music, calls and system sounds come through with balanced bass, mids and treble.

How does the 3.5 mm analogue jack limit what I can do with this headset?

The single 3.5 mm plug carries stereo audio and the microphone signal together, so it works on any device with a combined headset port but cannot use separate mic and headphone sockets without a splitter.

Will the adjustable headband and 5.9 ft cable reach comfortably from a desktop tower on the floor?

Yes, the 5.9 ft cable gives plenty of slack for a floor-standing PC, and the adjustable headband fits a wide range of head sizes for long sessions.
