Logitech J4-B100A01 B100 Wired Optical Mouse Black 1000 dpi

Logitech B100 Wired Optical Mouse

The Logitech B100 is a refurbished wired optical mouse built for everyday desktop work. Its ambidextrous shape suits both left and right-handed users who want a simple pointing device. Three buttons and a single scroll wheel cover basic navigation without extra software. The 1000 dpi sensor handles standard office tasks and web browsing.

USB wired connection limits

The USB interface draws power directly from the host port so no batteries or separate receiver are required. Cable length restricts how far the mouse can sit from the computer and prevents use on systems that lack a free USB Type-A socket. Optical tracking works on most flat surfaces but can struggle on glass or highly reflective desktops. The fixed 1000 dpi resolution cannot be adjusted for faster or slower cursor speeds.

Plug-and-play setup

Installation is plug-and-play on modern operating systems; the device is recognised automatically without driver downloads. A common issue is a loose or damaged USB port causing intermittent disconnects. Dust on the optical lens may cause cursor jitter until cleaned. Because the cable is non-detachable, any fraying near the connector usually means replacing the whole unit.
