Aluminum Mechanical Keyboard for Windows

The Logitech K845 is a full-size wired keyboard with 104 keys and tactile quiet switches. An aluminum top shell and adjustable tilt angle support long typing sessions. Five backlight modes provide visibility in low light. It connects through a 1.8 meter USB cable and works with Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11.

Sustained Typing Comfort and Durability

The low-carbon aluminum construction resists flex during extended use. Tactile quiet switches deliver feedback without loud click noise, reducing fatigue over hours of work or gaming. The 43 percent post-consumer recycled plastic content and Carbon Neutral certification reflect a focus on material longevity. A 30 foot wireless range specification is listed, though the unit ships as a wired model.

Full-Size Layout with Numeric Keypad

The 104-key arrangement includes a dedicated number pad for spreadsheet and data entry tasks. Dimensions of 435 mm width, 127 mm height and 6.5 mm depth define the desk footprint. Buyers needing a compact tenkeyless form factor or wireless connectivity should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the K845 produce when used all day?

The keyboard has no fan or active cooling; it runs silently with tactile quiet switches and its aluminum top shell passively dissipates any minimal heat from the USB-powered circuitry.

What port must my computer have free for this keyboard to work?

It requires one available USB port for the wired 1.8 meter cable; no extra adapters or drivers are needed on Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11.

Will the K845 work alongside my older Windows 7 PC that I still keep?

Yes, the keyboard is compatible with Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11, so it functions on the older system without additional software.
