Medium Teams Rooms Kit for Windows

This Logitech bundle delivers a complete Microsoft Teams Rooms solution for midsize meeting spaces. It combines a Lenovo ThinkSmart Core Gen 2 mini PC with the Logitech Rally conferencecam and Tap touch controller. The system is designed for one-touch join and always-on readiness in a Windows environment.

Included Rally Camera Mounting Kit and Cat5e Kit

The Rally mounting kit secures the conferencecam in the optimal position for room coverage. A Cat5e kit extends the connection between the Tap controller and the compute unit, allowing flexible placement on the table. These accessories simplify installation by providing the necessary hardware for a clean, professional deployment.

Verify Room Size and Network Infrastructure

This kit is sized for midsize rooms; larger spaces may require additional audio or camera components not included here. Confirm that your network supports the required bandwidth for Teams video conferencing and that a single Ethernet drop reaches the intended Tap location. Ensure the mini PC mounting location accommodates the cable retention design.

Questions about this item

What parts of the Rally camera or Lenovo ThinkSmart Core Gen 2 mini PC might need replacement after extended use?

The Rally conferencecam includes mechanical pan, tilt and zoom mechanisms that can wear over time, and the mini PC’s internal fan and SSD are the only field-replaceable components listed for the Core Gen 2 unit.

Which component reaches its thermal or processing limit first during an all-day Teams meeting?

The Lenovo ThinkSmart Core Gen 2 mini PC handles the Teams workload and will hit its thermal ceiling before the Rally camera, which only processes video capture and PTZ movement.

How much heat and noise does the combined Rally plus ThinkSmart Core Gen 2 system produce when running continuously?

The Rally conferencecam operates silently with passive cooling, while the Core Gen 2 mini PC uses a low-speed fan that keeps acoustics at typical office background levels during sustained operation.
