Mevo Core Camera Body

The Logitech Mevo Core 961-000521 is a wireless live streaming camera body sold without a lens. It targets creators who want flexible mounting and streaming over WiFi, cellular or Ethernet with app control. An internal microphone is built in for audio capture. The package includes a 6.5 ft USB-C cable, a body cap and documentation.

Solo Creators Seeking Wireless Freedom

This unit suits streamers who need a compact camera they can place away from a computer and control remotely. Buyers who want an all-in-one webcam with a fixed lens or plug-and-play USB video class support should look at something else. The body-only design means a separate lens purchase is required before use.

Simple Body Mounting, Lens Choice Required

Installation starts by attaching a compatible lens to the camera body and connecting power or data via the USB-C port. What usually goes wrong is forgetting that no lens ships in the box, so the camera cannot produce an image until one is sourced. App-based network setup also demands a stable connection for reliable streaming.

Questions about this item

Which lens mount do I need to buy separately so the Mevo Core body can focus?

The camera body uses a Micro Four Thirds mount; any MFT lens you already own or purchase will attach directly.

Will my existing USB-C power bank run the camera for a full stream?

Yes — the included 2 m USB-C to USB-C cable connects to any USB-C PD source, so a compatible power bank can supply continuous power.

How do I confirm the Mevo Core is live-streaming correctly after I press go?

Open the Mevo app on your phone; the preview window shows the live feed and a red REC/LIVE indicator when the stream is active.
