Green Laser Pointer for Bright Rooms

The Logitech R800 is a professional presenter built around a Class 2 green laser beam that stays visible on LCD and plasma screens and in brightly lit rooms. It is designed for speakers who need reliable pointing and slide control without installing software. The plug-and-play USB receiver works immediately on Windows and Mac systems.

Wireless Freedom with Built-In Receiver Storage

A 2.4 GHz RF link gives up to 100 feet (30 meters) of range so you can move around large conference rooms or classrooms. The receiver stores inside the presenter body when not in use, preventing loss during transport. An LCD screen shows remaining time and signal strength, while silent vibrating alerts keep you on schedule without audible beeps.

For Presenters Who Need Visible Pointing

This unit suits professionals who regularly present in bright environments and want tactile, touch-friendly controls for next, back, start/stop and black-screen functions. It is not for users who require Bluetooth connectivity, a red laser pointer, or a presentation remote without an integrated display and vibration alerts.

Questions about this item

How long will the R800's battery last when I use the green laser pointer continuously during a full-day conference?

The R800 runs on two AAA batteries; the green laser draws more power than a red one, so expect shorter life under continuous use — carry spares for all-day sessions.

Does the R800 get warm or make any noise when I carry it around a large room for hours?

The presenter has no fan or moving parts; it stays cool and silent during extended use, with only a subtle vibration alert from the LCD timer.

What must my laptop have so the R800 works the moment I plug it in?

An available USB-A port is all that's needed — the 2.4 GHz receiver is plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
