Logitech Swytch BYOM laptop link

The Logitech Swytch 952-000034 is a KVM switch designed for bring-your-own-meeting rooms. It connects a laptop to the room's display, camera and audio system with a single cable. Meeting participants can start a video conference from their own device instantly. The unit weighs 0.4200 kg and carries model number 952-000034.

Passive operation with no fan noise

The switch draws power from the connected laptop so it adds no separate power supply to the installation. With no moving parts it runs silently during meetings. The compact extender box keeps cabling tidy at the table or in the credenza. Normal use produces no audible noise and negligible heat.

Single USB-C laptop connection required

The link works only when the host laptop provides a USB-C port that carries video, data and power. Devices without that port cannot use the Swytch. Rooms that rely on legacy HDMI or USB-A laptops need a different solution. Buyers who need multi-laptop switching or HDMI input should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Logitech Swytch 952-000034 and what step do people often miss?

Connect the extender box between the room system and laptop using the provided cables, then power it on; the step often missed is ensuring the laptop detects the room display before starting the meeting.

What maintenance or replacement will the 952-000034 need later?

The unit has no user-serviceable parts; if cables wear or the box fails after extended use, replace the entire 0.42 kg extender box.

What limit appears first on the 952-000034 during sustained use?

The extender box maintains signal integrity over its designed cable reach; the first limit is the maximum cable length supported by the connected room system and laptop ports.
