Logitech Z323 2.1 speaker system

The Logitech Z323 is a 2.1 speaker system rated at 30 watts RMS total power. It comprises two satellite speakers and a ported, down-firing subwoofer. The system suits anyone wanting a simple desktop or living-room audio upgrade for music, films or gaming.

360-degree sound with dual-driver satellites

Each satellite uses front and back facing drivers to project audio in a 360-degree pattern. The subwoofer provides 18 watts RMS for low-frequency output down to 55 Hz. Connections are made through RCA and 3.5 millimetre inputs, while an integrated headphone jack on the subwoofer allows private listening without unplugging the source.

Replaces basic stereo speakers or monitor audio

This system upgrades from built-in monitor speakers or simple two-channel desktop sets by adding a dedicated subwoofer and wider dispersion. The jump is worth it when you want richer bass and room-filling sound from a single compact package that connects to computers, consoles, televisions or mobile devices.

Questions about this item

What does the 3.5 mm and RCA input cap in practice?

The 3.5 mm and RCA inputs accept analogue stereo from any source, so the 30 W RMS amplifier and 55 Hz–20 kHz response set the practical limit.

How much desk or shelf space do the satellites and subwoofer need?

Each satellite measures 8.30 × 3.43 × 4.49 in and the subwoofer 8.90 × 5.51 × 8.50 in, totalling 2.20 lb for the pair and 4.25 lb for the sub.

How is the system connected, and what step is often missed?

Plug the satellites into the subwoofer, connect the 3.5 mm or RCA cable to your device, then use the subwoofer volume and bass knobs to balance levels.
