Logitech Z625 THX 2.1 speaker system

The Logitech Z625 is a THX certified 2.1 speaker system designed for desktop and living-room use. It comprises two satellite speakers and a subwoofer delivering 200 watts RMS and 400 watts peak power. The system suits gamers, film viewers and music listeners who want accurate audio from a single compact package.

Input limits: optical, 3.5 mm and RCA only

Connectivity is restricted to optical, 3.5 mm auxiliary and RCA analogue inputs. No wireless, USB or HDMI audio paths are provided, so devices must present one of these three interfaces. The optical input accepts two-channel PCM streams; multichannel bitstreams are not decoded by the speaker controller.

Check your source outputs and mains voltage

Verify that your computer, console or TV offers an optical, 3.5 mm or RCA output before ordering. The included cables cover optical and 3.5 mm connections; an RCA cable is not supplied. The unit ships with a 120 V power supply, so confirm your local mains voltage matches this rating.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 2.1 configuration or a different setup?

The Z625 is a fixed 2.1 system with two satellites and a subwoofer; there are no alternative configurations for this model.

What does 200 Watts RMS mean for everyday listening?

It means the satellites deliver 35 Watts each and the subwoofer 130 Watts continuously, giving loud, clear sound with deep bass for games, films and music.

How do the optical, 3.5 mm and RCA inputs affect what I can connect?

You can hook up to three devices at once — such as a TV, computer and console — and switch between them without unplugging cables.
