Premium Black Walnut Keycaps

This 15-key set is crafted from premium black walnut wood, offering unique grain patterns and a warm, natural feel. Each keycap features a smooth polished finish for a comfortable typing experience. Designed in a standard OEM profile, they provide a familiar height and shape suitable for daily work and gaming. The set is built for mechanical keyboards using MX-style switches.

Suits 65% 75% 96% Layouts

These keycaps are made for users with 65%, 75%, or 96% layout keyboards who want a natural wood aesthetic and tactile surface. They are not suited for full-size keyboards requiring a complete keycap set, nor for boards using non-MX switch stems such as Topre or Alps. Buyers seeking uniform plastic legends or backlight shine-through should look at alternative materials.

MX-Style Stem Compatibility

The decisive specification is the MX-style cross stem, which fits Cherry MX, Gateron MX, Kailh MX, and similar switches. Verify your keyboard uses this stem type before purchase; the keycaps will not mount on proprietary or low-profile switch designs. The 15-key configuration covers the specific modifier and function keys for the supported compact layouts.

Questions about this item

Do the wood keycaps generate more heat or noise during all-day typing?

The Black Walnut wood keycaps do not change the keyboard's heat or noise profile; they simply replace the plastic caps on MX-style switches.

What keyboard and switches do I already need for these 15 OEM-profile caps to fit?

You need a mechanical keyboard with a 65%, 75% or 96% layout and cross-type MX-style switches such as Cherry MX, Gateron MX or Kailh MX.

Will these keycaps work on my older board that still uses Cherry MX switches?

Yes, the MX-style stem is compatible with Cherry MX, Gateron MX, Kailh MX and similar cross-type switches found on many older keyboards.
