Premium Wood Keycaps for 75% Layouts

This complete 84-key set is crafted from black walnut wood with a smooth polished finish and OEM profile. Each keycap shows unique grain patterns and provides a warm, natural tactile feel. The MX-style stems fit Cherry MX, Gateron MX, Kailh MX, and similar cross-type switches for broad mechanical keyboard compatibility.

Wood Material Changes Sound and Feel

The solid wood construction adds weight and a deeper acoustic signature compared with standard plastic caps. Natural oils and grain texture create a distinct surface friction that some typists find more comfortable during long sessions. No legends are printed, so backlighting will not shine through the keycaps.

Verify Layout and Switch Type First

Confirm your keyboard uses a standard 75% layout with 84 keys and MX-compatible cross stems before ordering. Non-standard bottom rows, split spacebars, or low-profile switches will prevent a full fit. A keycap puller is required for removal but is not included in the package.

Questions about this item

Do the wooden keycaps need oiling or sealing over time?

The black walnut keycaps are delivered with a smooth polished finish and require no additional oiling or sealing; normal cleaning with a dry cloth keeps the surface in good condition.

Will the OEM-profile wood caps interfere with stabilisers on the spacebar or shift keys?

Each cap uses a standard MX-style stem, so stabilised keys fit exactly as they do with the original plastic caps — no modification is needed.

Does the wood expand or get sticky when the keyboard runs warm all day?

Black walnut is dimensionally stable and the polished surface resists moisture, so extended typing sessions do not cause swelling or a tacky feel.
