The LONGER Ray5 delivers 10 W of optical output through a compressed dual-beam module that produces a 0.06*0.06 mm spot. It engraves at speeds up to 10000 mm/min across a 400x400 mm work area and can cut wood up to 20 mm thick or acrylic up to 30 mm thick. The 32-bit motherboard drives the motion system for precise DIY and small-batch production work.

Air-Assisted Cooling and Safety Features

An integrated air-assist nozzle directs airflow across the cut path to clear debris and moderate temperatures during operation. The chassis includes a power button, active position protection, thermal protection and a current safety control system that halt the laser if the gantry moves unexpectedly or temperatures rise. A 3.5" colour touch screen provides local control without a host computer.
