PCI-E 1X to 16X Extender for Miners

The LORDWORLD 006C riser converts a single PCI-E 1X slot into a 16X connection for graphics cards. It includes a 6-pin power adapter to deliver auxiliary current directly to the card. A built-in LED indicator shows when power is present on the board. This adapter targets cryptocurrency mining rigs that need multiple GPUs from limited motherboard lanes.

6-Pin Power Connector Requirement

The card draws supplementary power through a standard 6-pin PCI-E connector from the power supply. Builders whose PSU lacks spare 6-pin leads cannot use this riser without an adapter. Systems that rely on slot power alone will not meet the GPU's current demands. Verify available connectors before ordering.

Questions about this item

What does the 1X to 16X extension mean once the card is installed in a machine?

The riser takes a single-lane PCI-E slot and provides a full-length 16X connector so a graphics card or mining board can be mounted away from the motherboard while drawing power through the 6-pin adapter.

What interface standard does the extender use and what does it limit in practice?

It uses a PCI-E 1X edge connector on the motherboard side, so the link runs at single-lane bandwidth regardless of the 16X physical slot on the riser.
