Dual-Slot M.2 & mSATA Adapter
This LORDWORLD adapter converts one M.2 NGFF B-key or B/M-key SSD and one mSATA SSD into a single 2.5-inch SATA 3.0 drive. The board measures 98 x 65.5 mm and fits standard drive bays. Only the M.2 drive operates when both slots are populated. The M.2 slot accepts .7 and 1.0 spec devices.
Suits B-key SATA upgrades, not M-key
Builders adding a SATA-based M.2 drive to a 2.5-inch bay can use this board. It also supports legacy mSATA modules when the M.2 slot is empty. Buyers with M-key only SSDs cannot use the M.2 connector. Systems lacking a free SATA port or 2.5-inch bay should look elsewhere.
B-key M.2 requirement decides fit
The single specification that determines compatibility is the M.2 keying: the onboard female connector accepts only B-key or B/M-key SATA NGFF modules. M-key drives are physically incompatible and will not function. No other interface or protocol is supported by this adapter.
