Two-computer KM switch

The LORDWORLD KM switch lets two computers share four USB 3.0 peripherals without unplugging cables. It suits home offices or workstations where a keyboard, mouse, printer and flash drive must move between a desktop and a laptop. The switch handles the hand-off so both systems see the same devices.

Bundled cables and power option

Two USB 3.0 cables and a USB-C-to-A cable are included, so both computers connect immediately and the optional 5 V power input can be fed from any spare USB-A port. The extra power enables stable operation with bus-powered SSDs, hard drives or cameras that exceed standard port current.

Aluminium build and front-panel button

An aluminium-alloy chassis acts as a heatsink, keeping the switch cool during sustained transfers. Four downstream ports face the front for easy access, while a single push button toggles the active computer and an LED indicates which system has control.

Questions about this item

Will the USB-C power port need replacement after extended use?

The 5V USB-C power port is built into the aluminium alloy housing and is not a user-replaceable component.

What limits sustained 5Gbps transfers when sharing four devices between two computers?

The single USB 3.0 upstream link from the active computer caps total bandwidth at 5Gbps shared across all four ports.

Does the aluminium housing stay cool and silent during all-day operation?

The aluminium alloy housing passively dissipates heat with no fan, so it runs silently and remains at a safe temperature.
