A two-port KVM switch lets two computers share one 4K monitor, keyboard, mouse and four USB 2.0 peripherals at up to 3840×2160@60Hz
This KVM switch lets two computers share one HDMI monitor, a keyboard, a mouse and up to four USB 2.0 peripherals. It handles video up to 3840*2160 at 60Hz with YUV 4:4:4 chroma sampling, plus 2560*1440@60Hz and 1920*1080@60Hz. A front-panel button toggles between the connected systems instantly. The unit draws power from a Micro USB cable that plugs into any USB port or charger.
Instead of swapping HDMI and USB cables by hand, you connect each computer once and switch with a single press. The jump is worth it when you run a desktop and a laptop side by side, or two workstations that need the same printer, webcam or external drive. USB 2.0 bandwidth tops out at 480Mps, so high-speed storage or capture devices will not run at full rate through the hub.
The switch fits users who need 4K@60Hz clarity for text, coding or design review across two machines without a second monitor. It also supports wireless multimedia and mechanical gaming keyboards. Buyers who need hotkey switching, USB 3.0 or 3.1 speeds, or more than two computer ports should look at a different KVM model.
