8-Inch 2K IPS Touch Display

The LORDWORLD 8-inch display delivers a 1536×2048 IPS panel with 10-point capacitive touch. It is built for Raspberry Pi 4B and Compute Module 4 boards that can drive its 2K resolution. The screen also works as a driver-free touch monitor for Windows PCs.

Who it suits and who it does not

Makers using a Pi 4B or CM4 get a ready-to-run high-resolution touchscreen. Builders with older Pi models or other single-board computers lacking equivalent GPU performance will not be able to drive the panel fully.

1536×2048 resolution requirement

The 1536×2048 pixel count demands GPU performance at least equal to a Pi 4B. If the host device cannot meet that graphics capability the display will not operate at its native resolution.

Questions about this item

Which Raspberry Pi board do I need to drive the 1536×2048 panel at full resolution?

Only the Raspberry Pi 4B or Compute Module 4 have enough GPU performance to drive the 2K panel completely; earlier boards cannot.

Will the touchscreen work on a Windows 10 PC without installing extra drivers?

Yes, the display supports 10-point touch on Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8 and 7 with no driver installation required.

How can I confirm the screen is running at its native 1536×2048 resolution after setup?

Check the display settings on the host device — it should report 1536×2048, and the desktop should fill the panel without scaling or black borders.
