Right-angle 5.5×2.5 mm to USB-C 140 W adapter
This adapter converts a 5.5×2.5 mm DC barrel input into a USB-C output. It accepts 18 V to 20 V from a 135 W or 140 W charger and delivers up to 140 W through Power Delivery and Quick Charge protocols. A built-in PD emulator trigger requests the 20 V 7 A profile. The 90-degree plug fits tight spaces around the barrel jack.
Suits users with high-wattage barrel chargers
Buyers whose charger supplies less than 18 V or cannot reach 100 W will not get full power. Devices that require more than 140 W or a different voltage range cannot be supported. The adapter only works with a compatible DC source and will not operate from a standard USB-A port.
20 V 7 A PD trigger enables 140 W output
The internal trigger negotiates the 20 V 5 A or 20 V 7 A fixed profile so the connected device can draw up to 140 W. Without a charger that provides 18 V to 20 V at sufficient current the adapter falls back to lower profiles such as 20 V 3.25 A or 15 V 2 A. Verify your charger voltage and current rating before use.

Questions about this item
Should I pick the 135W or the 140W charger version for this adapter?
The adapter accepts DC 18V-20V input up to 140W, so it works with both 135W and 140W chargers; choose the charger that matches your laptop's original rating.
What does the 140W maximum output mean when I plug my laptop in?
The adapter can deliver up to 140W (20V/7A) over USB-C PD, provided your charger supplies 18V-20V at that level and your laptop negotiates the 20V/7A profile.
Which charging standards does the USB-C port support and what power do they cap at?
The port supports USB PD and QC 2.0/3.0 with fixed output steps of 5V/2A, 9V/3A, 15V/2A, 20V/3.25A, 20V/5A and 20V/7A, topping out at 140W.
