Replacement Surface Power Adapter

This 65W AC adapter replaces the original charger for Microsoft Surface Pro 3 through 9, Surface Pro X, Surface Go, Surface Book and Surface Laptop 1 to 3. It accepts 100-240V input at 50 or 60 Hz for worldwide use. The unit is new and ready to restore power to a compatible device.

65W Output with USB Charging Port

The adapter delivers 15V at 4A for the main Surface connection and includes a 5V 1A USB port for charging a phone or accessory. It comfortably handles the power draw of the listed Surface models during normal operation and charging. The USB port adds convenience but provides limited current for larger tablets or power-hungry peripherals.

Barrel Connector and Cable Length Limits

Connection to the Surface device uses the proprietary magnetic barrel connector; the adapter does not support USB-C Power Delivery for these models. The included 6ft power cord sets the reach from wall outlet to the brick, and the fixed output cable length determines the distance from brick to device. Users needing longer reach or a different connector type will find this adapter unsuitable.

The USB port supplies 5V at 1A; connect a phone or small accessory and it should begin charging immediately.

Does the package include the 6 ft mains lead or only the brick?
