Magnetic NVMe enclosure with PD100W

The LORDWORLD AP42P is a magnetic enclosure for 2230 and 2242 M-key NVMe drives. It connects over USB 3.2 Gen 2 at 10 Gbps and supplies up to 100 W of power delivery. The unit supports ProRes video recording on iPhone 15, 16 and 17 Pro or Pro Max models. Drives up to 2 TB are accepted and the enclosure ships without a drive.

Thermals, noise and power draw in normal use

The aluminium body acts as a heatsink for the NVMe drive during sustained transfers. No fan is fitted so operation is silent. Power draw scales with the installed drive and any attached device charging through the PD port. The enclosure itself adds minimal overhead beyond the drive and charging load.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the magnetic enclosure to my iPhone 15 Pro Max without blocking the camera?

Snap the magnetic base to the back of the phone, aligning it below the camera module; the built-in magnets hold the 2230 or 2242 NVMe drive securely while leaving lenses clear.

Will the PD 100W charging port need a separate power brick later?

The enclosure passes through up to 100 W from your existing USB-C charger, so no extra brick is required unless your current adapter supplies less power.
