LORDWORLD

LORDWORLD DisplayPort Cable 2.1 6FT 16K@60Hz 8K@120Hz 4K@240Hz 54Gbps

SKU CH-NMEQ-DMNWH

A 6 ft DisplayPort 2.1 cable delivering 54 Gbps for 16K at 60 Hz, 8K at 120 Hz and 4K at 240 Hz, with triple-shielded 28 AWG tinned copper, gold-plated connectors and support for HDR.

  • Supports 16K@60Hz with DSC for ultra-high-resolution clarity
  • 54Gbps bandwidth delivers smooth 8K@120Hz and 4K@240Hz gaming
  • 28AWG tinned copper with triple shielding prevents signal interference
  • Double nylon braid and 24K gold-plated connectors resist wear and heat
  • Compatible with FreeSync and G-Sync for tear-free variable refresh rates

16K DisplayPort 2.1 Cable 6FT

This new DisplayPort 2.1 cable carries 54Gbps bandwidth and supports 16K at 60Hz with DSC, 10K at 60Hz, 8K at 120Hz or 60Hz, and 4K at up to 240Hz. It is built for gamers and creators who need lossless high-resolution video and audio from a single link. The 6-foot length suits typical desktop-to-monitor runs.

Capacity and headroom for high refresh rates

The cable handles 4K at 240Hz, 165Hz and 144Hz, plus 2K at 240Hz, 165Hz and 120Hz, giving headroom for competitive gaming and professional colour work. At 8K it reaches 120Hz, and at 16K it reaches 60Hz with DSC compression. Bandwidth saturates at 54Gbps, so resolutions or refresh rates beyond the listed modes are not supported.

Upgrade from older DisplayPort cables

Replaces DisplayPort 1.4 or earlier cables that cannot deliver 8K above 60Hz or 4K above 144Hz without compression artefacts. The jump is worth it when the source and display both support DP 2.1 and you need 10K, 16K or 4K at 240Hz. It will not add capability if the graphics card or monitor is limited to an earlier DisplayPort version.

Questions about this item

Will this 54Gbps DisplayPort 2.1 cable work properly with my older 8K@60Hz monitor and 3090 graphics card?

Yes. The cable supports 8K@60Hz and 54Gbps bandwidth, matching the monitor's requirement and the 3090's DisplayPort output. Triple shielding and 28AWG tinned copper maintain signal integrity over the 6FT length.

How can I verify the cable is delivering 4K@240Hz with HDR10 and G-Sync after connecting it?

Check the monitor's on-screen display for 240Hz and HDR status, confirm G-Sync is active in the GPU control panel, and run a high-motion game to see smooth, tear-free frames without flicker.

What comes in the box and do I need to buy any adapters for a standard DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort connection?

The box contains the 6FT DisplayPort 2.1 cable with 24K gold-plated connectors and double nylon braiding. No adapters are required for a direct DP-to-DP link between a desktop or laptop and a monitor.
