Camera Module for Jetson Nano and Pi Compute Module
This 8MP camera uses the IMX219 sensor and includes infrared LEDs with an embedded IR-cut filter that removes the reddish tint common on standard IR cameras during daylight. It connects directly to the Jetson Nano Developer Kit B01 and the Jetson Nano 2GB Developer Kit. It also works with Raspberry Pi Compute Module CM3, CM3+ and CM4 boards.
Suitable for AI vision projects needing wide-angle
Developers building facial recognition, road-mark detection or licence-plate reading systems will benefit from the 162° field of view and integrated IR illumination. Buyers who need a narrower perspective or a camera without onboard infrared lighting should consider other modules.
8MP resolution with 162° coverage for close-range
The wide angle captures broad areas at short distances, making it useful for robotics or kiosk installations. At longer ranges the pixel density drops, so fine detail such as distant text or small objects may not be resolved clearly.
