Adapter Purpose & Audience

Installation Notes

The package supplies a riser card, bracket, screwdriver and two screws; follow the supplied diagram for the correct sequence. A common mistake is inserting a SATA B+M-key drive or a PCIe AHCI device, which the adapter does not support.

Supported Drive Lengths

Accepts NVME M-key SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 form factors at PCI-E 4.0 speeds up to 64Gbps. It will not work with mSATA drives, Wi-Fi cards, capture cards or any non-M.2 storage.
