The LORDWORLD adapter converts an M-key NVMe slot into a PCIe X1, X4, X8 or X16 connection. It accepts 2260 and 2280 form-factor drives and uses a 90-degree angled plug for tight clearances. The kit includes two ultra-thin PCBA boards and a 12V/5V SATA power cable.

Check motherboard slot key and power-off requirement

Verify the motherboard provides an M-key NVMe interface; the adapter will not work with B-key or SATA-only M.2 slots. The PCIe link speed follows the host slot and is limited to PCIe 3.0, 2.0 or 1.0 — PCIe 4.0 is not supported. Installation must be performed with the system powered off because hot-plugging is not supported.
