Tool-free M.2 NVMe and SATA enclosure with 10 Gbps USB-C, aluminium heatsink, supports 2230 to 2280 drives up to 4 TB
The LORDWORLD M.2 enclosure connects an NVMe or SATA solid-state drive to a host device through a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 link. It accepts M-key and B+M-key modules in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths up to 4 TB capacity. The tool-free latch opens with one click and a rubber fastener keeps the drive secure inside the aluminium shell.
Verify that the SSD you plan to use is an M.2 NVMe or SATA module in one of the supported keying and length combinations. The enclosure delivers up to 10 Gbps with an NVMe drive and 5 Gbps with a SATA drive, so the host port must support USB 3.2 Gen 2 or faster to reach the higher throughput. Compatible operating systems include Windows, macOS, Linux and Android.
An integrated aluminium heatsink and thermal silicone pad draw heat away from the drive during sustained transfers. The enclosure has no moving parts, so it runs silently in normal use. Power is drawn entirely from the host USB-C connection; no external adapter is required.

The enclosure is sold without a drive; you must provide your own M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD in 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280 size.
NVMe SSDs run at the full 10Gbps interface giving up to 1000MB/s, while SATA SSDs are limited to 5Gbps and 450MB/s; pick NVMe for the higher throughput.
They are the maximum sequential read and write speeds the enclosure can deliver — 1000MB/s with an NVMe drive and 450MB/s with a SATA drive — assuming the host USB-C port supports USB 3.2 Gen 2.
