Right-angle NEMA 6-20P plug

This UL-certified male AC plug uses a right-angle body that rotates to twelve positions. It accepts 15 A at 250 V and suits DIY rewiring of power cords in home or workshop settings. The three poles are brass and the pins are copper.

Build and connector details

A screw-lock terminal design secures conductors without soldering. The housing is nylon rated to vertical flame class 94V-0. Compatible cord sizes include SJT 18, 16, 14 and AWG 12. The rotatable body eases routing in tight outlets or behind equipment.

Replaces fixed-angle 6-20P plugs

Use this when a straight or single-orientation plug blocks adjacent sockets or strains the cable. The twelve-angle adjustment removes the need to rewire just to change cable exit direction. Not suited for circuits requiring 20 A rating or non-NEMA 6-20 configurations.
