PCIe to M.2 adapter for multiple SSD lengths
The LORDWORLD adapter connects an M.2 NVMe solid-state drive to a PCIe slot. It accepts 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 form factors. Builders adding fast storage to a desktop without an onboard M.2 socket can use this card.
Sustained operation with passive cooling
The card uses a simple PCB with no active cooling. Thermal performance depends on case airflow and the drive's own controller. Under continuous heavy writes the SSD may throttle if chassis ventilation is limited.
Silent passive design draws minimal power
No fan means zero acoustic output. Power draw is limited to the SSD itself plus negligible adapter overhead. The board adds no measurable heat beyond the drive and fits any standard PCIe slot.

Questions about this item
How much power does the LORDWORLD ON Cards PCIe to M.2 adapter draw when an NVMe drive runs continuously?
The adapter is passive and draws negligible power itself; the NVMe drive determines total consumption.
What slot and drive sizes must my motherboard and SSD provide for this adapter to work?
A free PCIe slot and an M.2 NVMe drive in 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280 form factor are required.
Will this card recognise an NVMe drive on an older motherboard that only supports PCIe 2.0?
The adapter carries the NVMe signals through the PCIe link; drive detection depends on the motherboard BIOS supporting NVMe boot.
