RCA analog to digital audio converter

The LORDWORLD adapter converts stereo RCA analogue signals to both optical Toslink and coaxial digital outputs. A short optical cable is included in the package so the connection can be made immediately. The unit is powered by an external supply and handles standard PCM stereo streams.

Suited for legacy sources needing digital inputs

This converter suits owners of older DVD players, game consoles or TVs with only RCA outputs who must feed a soundbar, AV receiver or DAC that accepts optical or coaxial input. It does not decode multi-channel formats such as Dolby Digital or DTS, so buyers needing surround-sound passthrough should look at a different device.

Questions about this item

Will this converter work with my older DVD player that only has red and white RCA audio outputs?

Yes, the adapter accepts stereo RCA input and converts the analogue signal to both optical Toslink and coaxial digital outputs for modern amplifiers or soundbars.

How can I confirm the converter is functioning correctly once connected?

Power the unit, connect the RCA source and an optical or coaxial cable to your receiver, then verify the receiver locks onto a digital audio stream and plays sound without noise.
