Dual USB 3.0 Header Adapter
This LORDWORLD adapter converts a single motherboard Type-C or USB 3.0 19/20-pin header into dual USB 3.0 20-pin and Type-E ports. It targets PC builders who need extra front-panel USB 3.0 connectivity from one internal header. The GL3510 chipset enables USB 3.1 Gen1 operation at 5Gbps. An included SATA power cable supplements port power for demanding peripherals.
Sustained 5Gbps Throughput
The GL3510 chipset uses Multiple INs to maintain full 5Gbps bandwidth across both output ports during continuous transfers. Two-way data transmission operates simultaneously without halving effective speed. The SATA power input delivers up to DC 5V 2A, preventing voltage droop that would throttle performance under heavy load. This design keeps both ports at rated throughput during extended file moves or backups.
Single Header Expansion Limit
One 19/20-pin or Type-C motherboard header is required as the host connection. Builders whose boards lack this specific header cannot use the adapter. The splitter does not create additional bandwidth beyond the host port's 5Gbps ceiling. Users needing more than two front-panel USB 3.0 ports must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item
Does the GL3510 chipset generate noticeable heat when running at 5Gbps all day?
The GL3510 chipset is designed for efficient USB 3.1 Gen1 operation at 5Gbps with minimal heat output during continuous use.
What motherboard headers must I already have to use this adapter?
You need a USB 3.0 19/20-pin or USB Type-C header on the motherboard plus a free SATA power connector for the supplementary cable.
Will this adapter work with my older USB 2.0 front-panel ports?
The adapter provides USB 3.0 20-pin and Type-E female ports; USB 2.0 devices can connect through compatible cables but will run at USB 2.0 speeds.
