Splits one USB 3.0 19/20-pin or Type-E header into dual 20-pin and Type-E outputs with SATA power at 5 Gbps
This adapter converts a single motherboard USB 3.0 19/20-pin or Type-E header into dual outputs — one 20-pin header and one Type-E connector. It targets builders who need to run two front-panel USB 3.0 ports or devices from one internal header. A SATA power cable is included to supply the extra port.
Each output supports USB 3.0 speeds up to 5 Gbps, roughly 10 times the throughput of USB 2.0. The 11 cm cable keeps routing tidy inside the chassis. Bandwidth is shared between the two ports, so simultaneous heavy transfers will divide the available 5 Gbps. The splitter does not create additional controller lanes.
The unit draws supplementary power from the included SATA connector, reducing load on the motherboard header. No active cooling or fan is present, so operation is silent. Power consumption stays within the limits of a standard SATA connection and the host header. The short cable minimises voltage drop and signal degradation.

Yes, it converts a USB 3.0 19/20-pin motherboard host to dual USB 3.0 20-pin and Type-E outputs using the included SATA power cable.
Connect a USB 3.0 device to the front panel, transfer a large file, and check that the transfer rate approaches 5Gbps rather than USB 2.0 speeds.
The SATA power cable is included in the box, so no separate purchase is required for power.
