90° USB 5.0 Adapter with Lanyard

This 90° USB 5.0 adapter adds a low-profile right-angle connection to laptops tablets and phones that have a USB-C port. The aluminium-alloy shell protects the plug while the attached lanyard keeps the adapter from being mislaid in a bag or pocket.

80Gbps Data and 240W Power Headroom

The adapter passes up to 80Gbps of data so it handles single 16K@30Hz 8K@60Hz 5K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz video streams when the host and monitor both support DP Alternate Mode. Power delivery reaches 240W at 28V/5A with 140W and 100W fallback steps so charging stays available during heavy workloads.

Lanyard Keychain Keeps the Adapter Handy

The built-in strap tether turns the adapter into a keychain item that travels with your cable set. It removes the need to carry a separate right-angle dongle and reduces the chance of leaving the adapter behind at a desk or in a meeting room.

Questions about this item

Will this 80Gbps adapter limit the speed of my existing USB 4.0 cable?

The adapter supports up to 80Gbps, which matches the USB 5.0 specification, so it will not restrict a USB 4.0 cable running at its rated speed.

How can I verify the 90-degree adapter is delivering 240W to my laptop?

Check the power meter on your laptop or a USB-C power meter; it should show up to 28V at 5A when the source and cable both support 240W.

Does the package include a USB-C cable or only the angled adapter with the lanyard?

Only the 90-degree male-to-female adapter with the attached lanyard keychain is supplied; a USB-C cable must be purchased separately.
