Connects USB-C devices to HDMI displays at 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz using a 10Gbps USB-C cable
This USB-C female to HDMI cable lets you send video from a tablet, phone or laptop to an HDMI display. It supports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 60 Hz. The adapter requires a host device with DP-Alt mode on its USB-C port.
The unit uses a short tether ending in a USB 3.1 Type-C male plug that inserts into the host. A separate 10 Gbps USB-C to USB-C cable must be used to bridge the gap to the female port on the adapter. It will not function with a USB-C monitor acting as the source.
No external power supply is needed; the adapter draws only the small amount of current provided by the host port. With no active electronics or fan, it adds no audible noise to the setup. Normal operation stays within the power budget of a standard USB-C output.

The cable supports up to 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz when used with a compatible 10Gbps USB-C to USB-C cable.
A separate 10Gbps USB-C to USB-C cable must be connected to the female USB-C port; other cables will not work.
Plug the 10Gbps USB-C to USB-C cable into the female port, then connect the HDMI end to the display; the adapter will not work if used in reverse from an HDMI source to a USB-C monitor.
