LORDWORLD

LORDWORLD USB-C to Rectangle 135W 20V 6.25A PD Cable

SKU CH-VJF4-FSPJG

Connects a 135 W or 140 W USB-C charger to a laptop's rectangular DC port at 20 V 6.25 A

  • Charges laptops with rectangle ports using USB-C power
  • Built-in 135W PD trigger delivers 20V 6.25A output
  • Works with 135W or 140W USB-C chargers
  • USB-C male input connects to rectangle male output
  • Supports up to 135W maximum power delivery

Purpose and compatibility

This cable lets a 135W or 140W USB-C charger power a laptop that uses a rectangular DC input. It is intended for owners of compatible ThinkPad X1 models who want to replace a bulky proprietary adapter with a compact GaN charger.

Built-in trigger function

A PD emulator trigger inside the rectangular plug negotiates 20V at 6.25A with the charger so the laptop receives the full 135W it expects. Without this trigger a standard USB-C charger would not supply the required voltage and current.

Deciding specification

The rectangular output is fixed at 20V and 6.25A for a maximum of 135W. Buyers whose laptops need a different voltage, a higher wattage or a different barrel size cannot use this cable.

Questions about this item

How often will the built-in PD emulator trigger at the rectangle end need replacement?

The trigger is integrated into the cable assembly and has no separate replacement schedule.

What limits continuous 135W delivery through this cable?

The 20V 6.25A rating sets the maximum; sustained output depends on the 135W or 140W Type-C charger staying within its own thermal limits.

Does the cable get hot or draw extra power when running at 135W all day?

The cable itself adds no active circuitry beyond the trigger, so heat and power draw come from the charger and laptop, not the cable.
