USB-C to HDMI 2.1 8K Adapter
The LORDWORLD JCA157 adapter connects a USB-C device to an HDMI display. It supports laptops, tablets and phones that provide DisplayPort Alternate Mode for a plug-and-play link.
HDMI 2.1 with DSC limits
The adapter meets HDMI 2.1 specifications and uses Display Stream Compression. With DSC active it delivers 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz. Without DSC the output drops to 8K at 30 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz.
8K and high-refresh 4K headroom
An 8K signal requires an 8K-capable USB-C port, an 8K display and an HDMI 2.1 cable. The adapter handles HDR content and HDCP-protected streams. It cannot drive 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz if the host or cable lacks DSC support.

Questions about this item
Which resolution and refresh-rate combination should I pick for my setup?
Choose 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz when your host, cable and display all support Display Stream Compression; otherwise expect 8K at 30 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz without it.
What does the 8K 60 Hz headline actually deliver on my monitor?
You get 8K at 60 Hz only if the USB-C port, the HDMI 2.1 cable and the display each handle 8K with DSC enabled; otherwise the link falls back to 8K at 30 Hz.
How does the HDMI 2.1 interface limit what I can run?
HDMI 2.1 caps the adapter at 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz with DSC, and at 8K 30 Hz or 4K 120 Hz without DSC; all four modes require an HDMI 2.1 cable.
