Purpose and Audience

The LORDWORLD USB5.0 extension adapter adds a female Type-C port with power, video and data pass-through for laptop users who need extra reach. It targets owners of Mac Pro 2018-2025, XPS or ChromeBook models that support DP Alternate Mode and want a single cable for charging, external displays and high-speed peripherals.

Setup Checks

Before ordering, confirm that your host port and monitor both support DP Alternate Mode over USB-C, otherwise video will not appear. Verify the charger and cable can deliver the wattage your device requires, up to 240W at 28V/5A, and that the cable used with the adapter is rated for 80Gbps data if you need full speed.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The aluminium alloy shell helps dissipate heat during continuous 240W charging and 80Gbps transfers, keeping performance stable rather than throttling after a short burst. The integrated LED display lets you monitor real-time voltage and current so you can spot any droop during long sessions.
