Converts M.2 Key E WiFi modules to PCIe X1 with 6 dBi antennas for WiFi 4 and Bluetooth 4.0 support
This adapter converts an M.2 Key E WiFi module to a PCIe X1 slot while routing Bluetooth over a USB header. It suits builders adding WiFi 4, 5, 6, 6E or 7 and Bluetooth 4.0 through 5.4 to a desktop without an M.2 E slot. The kit includes two 15 cm U.FL to RP-SMA pigtails and a 6 dBi RP-SMA male antenna for external placement.
The card ships with a 12 cm regular bracket installed and includes an 8 cm low-profile bracket for slim cases. Seat the M.2 2230 module in the Key E or A+E socket, secure it with the screw, attach the pigtails to the module and antenna, then plug the card into a PCIe X1 slot. Connect the supplied USB cable to a motherboard USB header to enable Bluetooth; without that link Bluetooth remains inactive. The adapter itself needs no driver, but the installed WiFi module will require its own driver under DOS, Windows, Linux or Mac OS.
The board accepts NGFF M.2 2230 modules with Key E or A+E interfaces from Intel, Broadcom, Realtek and Atheros, covering models such as BE200NGW, AX210NGW, AX200NGW, 9260NGW, 8265NGW, 8260NGW, 7265NGW and 7260NGW. It cannot work with CNVio or CNVio2 modules including AX211NGW, AX201NGW, AC 9560NGW, AC 9462NGW or AC 9461NGW, and it does not support Mini PCIe WiFi cards. The PCIe X1 link carries only WiFi traffic; Bluetooth bandwidth is limited to the USB header connection.

The adapter needs no driver itself; install the driver for your M.2 WiFi module and confirm the OS detects the module on the PCIe bus and the Bluetooth link appears once the USB cable is plugged into a motherboard header.
The kit includes the M.2 Key E to PCIe X1 adapter board with a pre-fitted 12cm bracket, an 8cm low-profile bracket, two 15cm U.FL/IPEX4 to RP-SMA pigtail cables, and a 6 dBi RP-SMA male antenna. You must provide a compatible M.2 2230 Key E or A+E WiFi module.
Supported modules include BE200NGW, AX210NGW, AX200NGW, 9260NGW, 8265NGW, 8260NGW, 7265NGW, 7260NGW, and Broadcom, Realtek or Atheros NGFF M.2 2230 Key E/A+E parts. CNVio2/CNVio modules such as AX211NGW, AX201NGW, AC 9560NGW, AC 9462NGW, AC 9461NGW and Mini PCIe cards are not supported.
