Snap Plate Architectural Sign 8.5" x 11

The Lorell 02653 is a snap-frame sign holder designed for indoor architectural signage. It accepts standard 8.5 by 11 inch inserts and mounts flat to walls or doors. Offices, lobbies and wayfinding systems use it for directories, room identifiers or compliance notices.

Snap-in retention under daily use

The front plate snaps open and shut without tools, holding the insert firmly in place. Repeated changes do not loosen the grip because the mechanism relies on tension rather than adhesive. The rigid backing keeps the sheet flat against the wall even in high-traffic corridors.

8.5 by 11 inch insert limit

Only inserts cut to exactly 8.5 inches wide by 11 inches high fit the frame; larger sheets will not close and smaller ones leave exposed edges. The unit mounts in portrait orientation only, so landscape layouts must be reformatted before printing. No hardware is included for surfaces that cannot accept screws or adhesive.

Questions about this item

Does the 02653 sign need any mounting hardware that isn't included?

The snap plate design holds the insert in place without separate fasteners; you only need the sign itself and a printed 8.5 x 11 sheet.

Can the 8.5 by 11 insert be swapped out later without tools?

Yes, the front cover snaps open so you can replace the paper insert by hand whenever the message changes.

Is the 2653 sign rigid enough to stay flat on a warm interior wall all day?

The plastic frame keeps the 8.5 x 11 insert flat under normal indoor temperatures; no heat-related warping is expected.
