Clear vinyl chairmat for medium-pile carpet

This clear vinyl chairmat measures 36 by 48 inches and includes a 19 by 10 inch lip that slides under the desk. A studded backing grips carpet fibres to keep the mat from shifting while the chair rolls. It is sold as a single unit and finished in transparent vinyl. The surface protects carpet from caster wear and makes chair movement easier.

Desks on carpet up to three-quarters inch thick

The mat is designed for medium plush carpets no thicker than three-quarters of an inch including padding. Buyers with low-pile carpet, hard floors or carpet thicker than the stated limit should look at alternatives because the studs will not grip correctly and the vinyl may not lie flat. Offices that need a larger floor area than 36 by 48 inches will also need a different size.

19 by 10 inch lip dimensions

The lip extends 19 inches wide and 10 inches deep from the main rectangle to fit beneath a standard desk overhang. If the desk opening is narrower than 19 inches or shallower than 10 inches the lip will not tuck fully underneath and the mat will not sit flush against the desk edge. Measure the desk clearance before ordering to confirm compatibility.
