Big & Tall Chair for 450 lb Support

The Lorell 40206 Big & Tall Chair is built for users who need a higher weight capacity than standard office seating provides. Its bonded leather seat and back deliver a professional look while the thick cushioning supports long hours at a desk. The chair arrives new and fully assembled as a single unit.

Fits Standard Workstations with Five-Star Base

The 29" diameter chromed steel base with casters rolls on typical office flooring without requiring a specialised mat. Pneumatic seat-height adjustment lets the chair match common desk heights, while 360-degree swivel allows easy reach across a workstation. Normal tilt with lock and tension control frees the user to shift posture without leaving the seat.

Bonded Leather and Chromed Arms Reduce Extra

Soft-padded chromed steel arms are included, so separate armrest pads are unnecessary. The bonded leather upholstery on both seat and back resists wear from daily use, delaying the need for replacement covers or cushions. Casters are factory-fitted, eliminating the step of sourcing compatible wheels.

Questions about this item

How much weight does the 40206 chair support before the 450 lb limit is reached?

The chair is rated for users up to 450 lb, and the chromed steel five-star base with 29" diameter is built to handle that capacity during sustained use.

Does the bonded leather seat and back stay cool and quiet during all-day sitting?

Bonded leather can retain heat over long periods, and the pneumatic cylinder plus tilt mechanism may produce occasional soft clicks when adjusting position.

What tools or parts are needed to assemble the 40206 chair out of the box?

The chair ships as one unit with the 5-star base, casters, chromed steel arms and gas lift already attached, so no extra tools or components are required.
