Steel storage cabinet with locking handle

This steel storage cabinet measures 36x18x42 inches and features a powder-coat finish in light gray. It includes a three-point recessed locking handle with keys for security. Adjustable shelves move in 2-inch increments while the bottom shelf remains fixed. Each shelf supports 180 lb evenly distributed.

Suitable for offices needing secure document storage

The cabinet suits workplaces that require lockable storage for files or supplies and value adjustable shelf spacing. It is not for buyers who need wall-mounted units, mobile pedestals, or cabinets with different dimensions or weight capacities.

Three-point recessed locking handle with keys

The three-point recessed locking handle with keys secures both doors at top, bottom, and centre in a single motion. This mechanism meets ANSI/BIFMA standards and determines whether the cabinet satisfies your security requirements.

Questions about this item

How much wall and floor space does the 36 by 18 by 42 inch cabinet require?

The unit measures 36 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 42 inches high, so allow at least that footprint plus a few extra inches for door swing and ventilation.

What is the correct way to level the cabinet and secure the three-point locking handle during assembly?

Place the cabinet on a flat floor, adjust any levellers until it sits plumb, then install the recessed handle and test all three latch points with the keys before loading shelves.

When should the adjustable shelves be repositioned or the hinges lubricated on the 41303 model?

Move shelves only when empty and keep each load at or below 180 pounds evenly distributed; lubricate the three hinge sets per door annually or if doors start to bind.
