Drafting Stool with Mesh Back

The Lorell 43100 is a mid-back drafting stool built for elevated work surfaces. It combines a breathable mesh back with an upholstered cushioned seat. Adjustable padded arms and a chrome footring support long sessions at drafting tables or standing desks. The chair ships new and meets or exceeds BIFMA standards.

Suits Adjustable-Arm Preference

Workers who need height- and width-adjustable padded arms will find the fit flexible. A pneumatic seat-height lever and ratchet back-height adjustment allow fine tuning. Buyers who want a fixed-arm chair or a model without a footring should consider other options. The 250 lb capacity also limits use for heavier individuals.

250 lb Weight Capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 250 lb weight capacity. If the user exceeds this limit the stool is not rated for safe use. All other adjustments — 360-degree swivel, caster mobility, arm and back height — depend on staying within that load. Verify the requirement before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the Lorell 43100 stool make noise or get hot after a full day of use?

The mesh back promotes airflow to keep you cool, and the nylon-base casters roll quietly on hard floors or carpet.

What floor surface or mat do I need already for the casters to roll properly?

The dual-wheel casters work on carpet, hardwood, tile or a standard chair mat without any extra hardware.

Will the 250 lb pneumatic lift still hold height if I keep my older 27-inch desk?

Yes, the gas lift locks at any position up to the rated capacity regardless of desk height.
