Compact mobile file pedestal

The Lorell 49522 is a light-grey steel pedestal on casters that fits under a standard desk. Two box drawers and one letter-size file drawer give quick access to everyday paperwork. A security lock protects confidential pages. Recycled content supports greener office goals.

Easy assembly and stable use

The unit ships fully assembled so no tools are required beyond positioning it where needed. Ball-bearing suspension keeps drawers gliding smoothly when loaded to capacity. Recessed handles prevent snagging on clothing or chair arms. Lock alignment can shift if the pedestal is dragged across uneven flooring.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the drawers on the 49522 glide correctly after assembly?

Open and close each drawer fully; the ball-bearing suspension should move smoothly without binding, and the recessed handles should sit flush when shut.

Does the 49522 ship with the security-lock keys, or must I order them separately?

Two keys for the built-in security lock are included in the box; no separate purchase is needed.
