Compact mobile file pedestal

The Lorell 49523 is a putty-coloured mobile pedestal with two file drawers sized for letter and legal folders. Its 15 by 19 by 27 inch footprint fits beside a desk or under a work surface while lockable castors let it move when the layout changes. Ideal for home offices and small business workstations that need secure, accessible filing without a full-size cabinet.

Full-extension slides and lock included

Ball-bearing slides extend each drawer completely so rear files stay reachable. An integrated lock secures both drawers with a single key, and the finished top doubles as a side work surface or printer stand. No assembly hardware beyond the supplied castors is required, so the unit is operational minutes after unboxing.

Questions about this item

Will the casters on the 49523 pedestal need periodic lubrication or replacement?

The casters are factory-fitted and designed for the life of the unit; no scheduled lubrication or replacement interval is specified by the manufacturer.

What is the first limit reached when the drawers are fully loaded and opened repeatedly?

The drawer slides are rated for the stated drawer dimensions of 15 by 19 inches; exceeding the intended paper capacity will cause binding before any other component fails.
